Armor PhotoGallery #11 - M4A2 Sherman Pt.1

The soft cover book has 80 pages with 201 colour photos, 74 B&W photos and 7 pagers of 1:72 and 1:35 plans with the entire book devoted to the early/mid 75mm gunned 56° hulled types.

The book is split into three parts, the first 40 pages has many superb close-up shots of museum M4A2s with the scale drawings in the middle followed by 22 pages of B&W period photos of the M4A2 in action. Text is kept to a minimum with just a brief introduction and captions with each photo describing the part shown or the vehicle and location in the final section.

Armor PhotoGallery #16 M4A2 Sherman Part 2

Following on from the first Armor PhotoGallery No.11 M4A2 Sherman Part 1 on the 56° hulled types comes this second volume on the M4A2 Sherman that deals with the later 47° hulled 76mm gun tanks.

The soft cover book has 72 pages with 247 colour photos, 38 B&W photos and 5 pages of 1:48 and 1:35 plans with the book devoted to the late production HVSS 76mm gun 47° hull M4A2 featuring the M4A2 (76)W HVSS from the Military Vehicle Technology Foundation museum in Portola Valley, California.

The book is split into three parts, the first 46 pages has many superb close-up shots of the M4A2 with the middle section having the plans and excerpts from the field manual followed by 16 pages of B&W period photos of the M4A2 in action, mostly showing Russian Lend Lease vehicles. Text is kept to a minimum with just a brief introduction and captions with each photo describing the part shown or the vehicle and location in the final section.
